Mark 3: 7-35 (HG2)
0 Comments »Vs. 7 -12: Jesus Withdraws from the crowd. Why?
- He needed rest / He was overwhelmed
- It was not the right time to go public
- To spend time with disciples
- Word travels quickly
- They wanted to satisfy personal needs
- They were curious
- They heard that He was a healer (Or maybe even the Messiah?)
Evil Spirits:
- They knew who Jesus was/ recognized Him (Mk 3 :11)
- Their reaction was fear – born out of the knowledge of who He was
- Jesus didn’t need their support
- He goes up and prays (through the night) (Lk 6:12-16)
- He calls (Mk 3:13)
- They came (Mk 3:13)
- He appointed (Mk 3:14)
- Designated the apostles (Mk 3:14)
Q: does power come in different measures?
Q: does power mean only for deliverance, healing etc. and is it only for the apostles?
- Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit
- Unforgivable sin
- Eternal sin
Q. Can believers commit the unpardonable sin?
